Halloween H20: 20 Years Later is a 1998 American slasher film directed by Steve Miller.

Summary

20 years after a Vicious attack by Michael Myers, Laurie Strode fakes her death in order to hide from her brother but finds her working a private boarding school in California.

Why It Rocks

  1. Jamie Lee Curtis returns after 17 years.
  2. Good acting especially from Jamie lee Curtis.
  3. It ignores events of the films 3 through 6.
  4. Some scary scenes here and there.
  5. Attempts at humor, but not to the point where it feels forced.
  6. Awesome ending.

Bad Qualities

  1. Michael Myers mask looks weak like some of the others.
  2. Some of the characters can be unlikable.
  3. The plot is similar to the first two films.
  4. It overuses fake out scares several times throughout the movie to the point it becomes easily predictable of when a fake out scare starts popping up in our faces.

Trivia

  • Even after 20 years, Jamie says seeing Michael Myers on set still scared her.

Ok, I spotted a lot of problems with this list.

1.Jamie Lee Curtis returns after 17 years.

That is not good enough to make it a good movie. And what 4-6 were trying to do was move on and make progress with the story of Michael Myers and the franchise as a whole, but you people ruined it and we got 2 shitty rehashes and 2 shitty remakes, so I hope you're happy.

2. Good acting especially from Jamie lee Curtis.

Eh, Josh Hartnett lacked charm and wasn't interesting, neither was Michelle Williams. Jamie Lee Curtis was the ONLY good actress in this movie.

3. It ignores events of the films 3 through 6.

How is that a good quality to the movie? Ignoring sequels is a terrible decision. And plus, the movie you're praising is a lifeless rehash!

4. Some scary scenes here and there.

No there weren't. All of the scenes where they try to be atmospheric lack heart and come off as forced.

5. Attempts at humor, but not to the point where it feels forced.

Uh, yeah it does.

6. Awesome ending.

the ending is mediocre and weak at best LOL!
