Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better, it's not.

The Lorax is a 1972 animated television special based on the original Dr. Seuss book of the same name.

Why It Rocks

  1. The traditional, original Dr. Seuss animation.
  2. Very catchy songs.
  3. Pretty decent voice acting.
  4. Good messages.
  5. It is faithful to the book.

40 years after the release of this special, Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment released a theatrical CGI remake of the animated TV special on March 2, 2012, which became the first entry in the Dr. Seuss Cinematic Universe after its huge box office success, despite having mixed-to-average reviews (which were slightly better than 2000's "How the Grinch Stole Christmas").
