In Memory of Mel Blanc (1908-1989)

Daffy Duck’s Quackbusters is a 1988 animated film. It is a compilation of various classic Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts with new bridging material.

Why It Rocks

  1. The way the shorts themselves are compiled is brilliant.
  2. Splendid animation!
  3. Top-notch voice acting.
  4. J.P. Cubish is a well-done villain.
  5. Likable characters.
  6. The short at the beginning (Night of the Living Duck) is just as good as the original shorts.
  7. A great choice for shorts, such as the events of Daffy Dilly instigating the plot.
  8. This was a nice compilation film to conclude Mel Blanc's time voicing all the characters of the Looney Tunes, ending a time with the franchise that began in 1937 on a higher note.
